Twitter Facebook

Where and What did you study in college?

I studied Liberal Studies and Digital Graphic Design at Eastern Maine Community College (EMCC), in Bangor, Maine.

I continued my education with New England School of Communications (NESCom) at
Husson University, in Bangor, Maine where I studied Communications Technology with a concentration in Web Media.

What is your current job?

I am the Marketing & Digital Media Associate with Washington Academy, an independent secondary school in East
I am responsible for project/content management, photography, videography, and marketing campaigns. I work simultaneously with teammates, teachers, and students to develop compelling stories and bring ideas to life through digital media for print and web.

What do you love most about your job?

I enjoy that my role is multilayered, across many disciplines - it encourages troubleshooting and problem solving on creative, technical and strategic levels. I also appreciate that the industry is constantly changing, which yields many opportunities for lifelong learning.

Why have you chosen to stay in Maine to live and work?

I am a homegrown, third generation Mainer. My grandparents, my parents, and I were all born in Bangor, Maine (with the exception of one grandmother from Machias, Maine).
I believe in Project>Login's mission and the philosophy of "Live & Work in Maine."

How did you get to where you are today?

I arrived where I am today firstly, through personal discipline and desire to achieve academic excellence, coupled with accessibility and affordability to higher education in Maine; and secondly, through the support of Project>Login, as a powerful resource and liaison between field placement and gainful employment opportunities. Thank you!
