HOPIN INVITES

Your exhibitor reps should have received an invite to Educate Maine's Hopin Conference event already. 

If they did not receive an invitation, please email angela@educatemaine.org with their name & email address. We will send an invite to the representative ASAP.  

NOTE:  Exhibitor reps will not be able to access our event unless they accept the Hopin email invitation and register.

How do I set up my virtual booth in Hopin?

Educate Maine is responsible for setting up virtual booths at our Hopin event. However, you can see the options available to exhibitors at the Expo tutorial

Project>Login has provided all exhibitors with a Google Form to collect all information and graphics needed to build your virtual booth. If you need to provide this information, contact Angela Oechslie for the link.

Can I see my vendor booth before the event is live?

You can access the event once you have accepted the email invitation sent to all exhibitor reps. The access link above will get you to the event and you will see your booth tiles once you have provided the necessary information & graphics. 

You will be able to enter the booths once the conference becomes live on Monday, August 9 at 8:30 am. 

How do I enter my vendor booth once the event is live?

When it's time for the event, head to this page for M-W event and this page for Th-F and login before the event starts. Click Enter Event.  

To enter your booth, click Expo on the bottom lefthand side and find your booth.  Click it to enter. 

How can we indicate which exhibitor reps will be live in our booth?

Project>Login needs to assign all exhibitor representatives as "Moderators" on their Expo Booth settings to let the vendors control attendees who will be on or off screen during a live Session with the vendor.  Exhibitor reps must have accepted the Hopin invitation first and then Project>Login can set those staff up as moderators to control video chats.

Are we able to make any changes to content, logo, etc. in our booth?

Project>Login will have staff available that can make changes to your booth.  You will need to email any changes to angela@educatemaine.org and we will make them as soon as possible.

Does Hopin support video chat?

Yes, Hopin does support live video chats with attendees.  Please check out this video for more information:  https://youtu.be/1bq4DIh5n3o

Pro tip to allow you to make changes yourself to your booth...

If you use google slides (instead of a video), then once Project>Login adds the published slide deck link to your booth, you can then change your slides anytime you want. With slides, you can also embed videos. You get the same functionality as just showing a video and more since you can also add slides with info, links to downloads or surveys, etc.
