I'm currently enrolled in the M.B.A program for IT Web Design/Development at Husson University in Bangor, Maine
I'm currently a full-time student at Husson University. My main focus is my education, so I can fully devote myself to college and all of the many opportunities there are to take advantage of at Husson. On the side, I do IT tasks for various small businesses like CARE Services in Palmyra!
What I love most about the IT field is the diverse range of people you can meet and careers you can attain. IT spans nearly every industry on the globe, so your options for places to find work that you love are boundless. I personally like meeting new people, and I've found a way to use IT to do just that.
Maine has so many more career opportunities than people think, you just need to know where to look. Maine's perpetual "small town" atmosphere means that you're never more than a few connections away from finding your dream job right here at home.
I got to be where I am today by taking every single opportunity possible to get my face out in the community and making a good impression on everyone I meet. I can't stress enough the importance of networking and getting yourself a good reputation among professionals in your industry. I am where I am because I actively make myself available to go to every event, conference, or job fair possible.
